Experience: Dr. Matt joined Family Health Care's dental department in July 2004. He works in our dental centers in Baldwin and White Cloud.
Dental Education: A graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry, Dr. Matt completed post-graduate training at the University of Michigan. He earned a science degree at Adrian College in the pre-dental curriculum.
Practice Perspective: Dr. Matt believes that educating patients is equally as important as good treatment: “I pride myself on educating patients so that treatment decisions are based on knowledge. Oral health and wellness, as well as preventive oral health maintenance, are vital to a patient’s overall well-being.”
Personal: Roaming Michigan trout streams is a favorite pastime, which goes nicely with Dr. Matt’s fondness for camping and weekend getaways. He enjoys most sports, especially snowboarding, and once was an avid sand volleyball player. His greatest pleasure, though, is spending time with his wife Laney and their three children.
