I have always had a passion for serving my community. In undergrad, I went on a mission trip to Honduras, where I was able to volunteer with a variety of health care professionals. It was there I realized my love for dentistry and the importance of oral health education. Since then, I have had the opportunity to help many others with their oral health. The most gratifying feeling is helping a patient understand and care about their oral health. I enjoy getting to know my patients, and I believe the dental chair is a space where anyone can begin their journey toward oral health. Compassion and honesty are at the core of my mission as a dentist because these two qualities are essential to provide the best care for patients.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. I am a member of the American Student Dental Association and local MDA. I received a scholarship from the Delta Dental Association for serving in underserved communities.
Everyone has the right to be able to access oral healthcare. A healthy smile is the result of teamwork by you and your dental team.
Life Outside of the Practice
When I’m not doing dentistry, you can usually find me hanging out with my family and friends. I also enjoy art endeavors, like pottery and painting. Being that I’m from the Caribbean, I’m always up for a good game of soccer or cricket.
