About Me
I bring 20 years of experience as an Internal Medicine physician, most of which were spent in the suburbs near Detroit. At 48, I enlisted as a Staff Internist in the U.S. Air Force and completed a four-year tour of duty, including one deployment to Bagram, Afghanistan. Joining the military and caring for ill and injured servicemen and servicewomen was more humbling than I expected. To be able to help was very rewarding.
Professional Experience

Why I Chose My Profession
I’ve always been a caring person and a good listener, so going to medical school and becoming a doctor just felt natural to me. Now, as a compassionate patient advocate and educator, my goal is to help my patients achieve the best outcome possible. For me, it’s about earning my patient’s trust and getting them to think proactive about their health, so they can live more fulfilling lives.
Life Outside of the Practice
I am married and blessed with three grown children and one precious grandson. Outside of the office you can find me golfing, boating, biking, fishing, snowboarding and chasing around my two golden doodles, Adele and Murphy.
