Internships and Student Placement
Are you ready to take the next step in your medical career? Look no further! The Family Health Care Internships and Student Placement Program offers unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience, work alongside medical professionals, and have a positive impact on patient care. Our facilities have accommodated various students from many disciplines by providing unpaid clinical and non-clinical experiences to fulfill educational, personal, and career development rotations and assignments.
Our philosophy and intent for this program is to continue to teach for the benefit of receiving a valuable service of student participation in projects and other work assignments and the potential recruitment of future long-term employees.
Students can expect to gain knowledge of community health services, self-confidence as a professional, and an appreciation of the diverse cultures of the patients served.
