Extended Hours Now Offered in Two Locations

Illness and other minor ailments don’t always happen during regular hours. That is why Family Health Care is offering extended evening and weekend hours at both its Baldwin and Cadillac offices for medical and pharmacy services.

Patients can be seen by a provider for acute medical issues including minor lacerations, sprains, removal of fish hooks, fever, upper respiratory infections, sore throats, ear aches and flu symptoms.

“Being such a rural area, we saw a need to offer our patients and visitors services outside of normal office hours,” said Kathy Sather, President & CEO of Family Health Care. “These extended hours move us toward our vision of providing 100% access to care and achieving 0% health disparities in our communities.”

The Baldwin office, located at 1615 Michigan Avenue in Baldwin, will be open Monday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Cadillac office, located at 520 Cobb Street in Cadillac, will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Both offices are open to all area residents and visitors. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Family Health Care accepts most insurances and offers discounts for those who qualify.
