Friendly Visitors
Friendly Visitors is a grant-funded service that recalls when your neighbor would stop in from time to time just to check in on you. If times were hard or you felt poorly, you could count on your neighbor to help.
Friendly Visitors is for Lake County seniors, 60 years or older, who live alone and need a little help to stay independent. We have trained volunteers who can call you on the telephone or come to your home to:
- Assist you in finding other service
- Help with meals and household chores
- Sit and talk
That's what we mean by being neighborly.
