Amie Fenton receives the Oral Health Champion Award from the Michigan Oral Health Coalition
BALDWIN, Michigan – Amie Fenton, a dental hygienist at Family Health Care’s clinic in Baldwin, recently received the Oral Health Champion Award from the Michigan Oral Health Coalition.
Fenton was recognized for her efforts to secure a $4,000 grant from the Lake County Community Foundation to purchase electric toothbrush kits for students who use dental services at the school-based health center at Baldwin Community Schools, to motivate the children to improve their oral health.
The Oral Health Champion Award celebrates those who go above and beyond to promote oral health in their communities.
