BALDWIN, Michigan – Family Health Care is pleased to announce that Ekow Amakye, DDS, has joined the organization’s dental team and is now seeing patients at its Baldwin clinic. Dr. Amakye brings a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping individuals and families achieve lifelong oral health.
Dr. Amakye earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Brigham Young University and later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Prior to joining Family Health Care, he practiced at a community health center in Muskegon, Michigan, where he provided comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages.
“Good oral health is the foundation of overall wellness and confidence,” said Dr. Amakye. “Each patient has unique oral health care needs, and I look forward to developing and building trust with my patients. I believe that the foundation of great dentistry is trust, not just clinical skill. We know that the dental chair can be an intimidating place for many. My primary goal is to change that narrative by actively listening to my patients, understanding their unique concerns, and creating a calming environment where they feel completely safe, heard, and cared for.”
Dr. Amakye said he is excited to become part of the Baldwin community.
