Family Health Care Welcomes Lydia Hill, FNP-C, to Reed City
School-Based Health Center
REED CITY, Michigan – Family Health Care is pleased to welcome Lydia Hill, FNP-C, as the new medical provider at its school-based health center located within Reed City Area Public Schools. Hill will serve students in Reed City, offering convenient, year-round access to primary and preventive care.
Hill is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than seven years of nursing experience. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Valley State University. Her clinical focus includes well-child visits and immunizations, sports physicals, sports injury follow-ups, acute illness care, and additional primary care services for students.
“I am excited to promote health education and empower young patients to take an active role in their overall health and well-being,” Hill said. “I combine my clinical knowledge and skills with empathy and compassion, ensuring that my patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.”
The school-based health center provides accessible care for students ages 5 to 21, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Karen Clark, school-based health center program supervisor, said Hill’s experience and student-centered approach make her an excellent addition to the program.
“Lydia brings a strong clinical background and a genuine passion for working with young people,” Clark said. “Her commitment to compassionate, accessible care will help ensure students receive the support they need to stay healthy and succeed in school.”
