Nicole Ray, LPC

Nicole Ray, LPC, is a behavioral health therapist at Newaygo Middle School. Ray earned a Master of Arts in counseling education and counseling psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Ray chose to become a counselor because she benefited from the counseling she received as a young girl. The work she did with her therapist saved her life and changed her trajectory. She realized she wanted to help others heal and achieve a higher quality of life as well. She has seen firsthand that the work done in treatment can be profound and life changing.
